What does "Verenigde Staten" mean? |
Q: I received my order confirmation e-mail, but underneath my shipping address it said 'Verenigde Staten'. Why? What does it mean?
Q: You've put my address wrong on the envelope! I received a shipment confirmation and it said you shipped to Verenigde Staten or Verenigd Koninkrijk!! What the hell?
A: The answer is just a Google away folks. :-)
Verenigde Staten is simply Dutch for United States (of America). So it's not an incorrect address line, just a Dutch one.
Since we're located in the Netherlands, our local mailmen will know where to send your order if it's marked 'Verenigde Staten' - no worries!
The same goes for "Verenigd Koninkrijk" (a.k.a. United Kingdom), incidentally.
