Do I get freebies when I order?

Q: Can I get some freebies with my next order?
Q: Some sites offer freebies with each order. Why doesn't Nirvana?

A: Ah yes, freebies. Or, as we Dutch like to say, 'to offer someone a cigar from their own case'. There's no such thing as a free lunch, folks.

When companies offer freebies they usually do one of two things:
- make sure they cover the cost of adding freebies in their overhead, for example by bumping up prices on other seeds or charging more for shipping.
- simply use old seeds that probably have gone bad and often won't even germinate.

At Nirvana, we don't hold with that kind of thing. Our seeds are always fresh; we have such a high turnover rate, seeds don't even get a chance to go old. If ever we do have old stock left, we test it for germination rates ourselves and throw out anything that's no longer viable.

Of course, we will sometimes give you a special treat, like we did around Christmas 2009. We also have regular special deals on seeds, maybe not free seeds, but certainly deals that are too good to pass up. Newsletter subscribers may be treated to a special discount or coupon code occasionally, too. Adding free seeds to ALL orders as a rule though? Nope, sorry.

We prefer to treat our customers in a different way, by giving you excellent value for money, or, if you'll excuse the pun, the most bhang for your buck ;) and by providing quick, friendly and generous customer service. In the end, we like to think that's far preferable to throwing in some old bagseed with an order and then not responding to any complaints or questions. Also, at Nirvana you can create freebies for yourself by saving Points!

Note: If you HAVE received freebies with your order, it's because of either of two options: Usually, it means you paid cash and overpaid us. We will then add seeds to recompense for the extra money you sent. Very rarely, it may simply have been a shipping department error. Lucky you!

If you've received freebies, sadly we cannot tell you what strains they were - we don't know because they come from a bowl of randoms.
